DEADLINE EXTENDED: Big Prize Poetry Slam

Big Prize Poetry Slam entry deadline EXTENDED to Friday 9/20!

You have a few more days to enter UMBC's annual BIG SLAM!  By the end of this FRIDAY 9/20, email a print and a video version of no more than 5 minutes of original poetry to HomecomingSlam@gmail.com. Entries will be judged on  Poetic Effects / Compelling Content / Performance, and all styles are welcome.

All UMBC students and Alumni are eligible. $200 Grand 1st Place Prize. Prizes for 2nd and 3rd Place! 

The Slam happens  October 11, 6:00-8:00 pm in the ground-floor Atrium of PAHB. The event is free! Refreshments will be served!
