DiCuirci's Seminar Designs Digital Exhibition
Professor Lindsay DiCuirci's Fall 2015 seminar on women and periodicals is pleased to announce the launch of a collaborative digital humanities effort with the American Antiquarian Society. Mill Girls in Nineteenth-Century Print is a digital exhibition featuring materials from the American Antiquarian Society's extensive newspaper and magazine collections. The exhibition centers on the culture, labor, and activism of mill girls in the mid-nineteenth century. Students in Dr. DiCuirci's seminar selected the items, organized and designed the exhibits, and composed essays and item labels. For more information, please visit http://pastispresent.org and visit the exhibition at http://americanantiquarian.org/millgirls.
