Pamela Petro will read from her new memoir The Long Field and join Prof. Sally Shivnan in conversation on Thursday 4/11 at 6 pm, at The Ivy Bookshop in Baltimore.
Petro
is co-director, with Shivnan, of the summer creative writing program in
Wales hosted by UMBC and U. of Wales. This event is a chance to hear
Petro talk about her experiences as a writer and about her long, rich
relationship with Wales. Her award-winning books have earned much
acclaim, with her most recent work
The Long Field a finalist for
Wales Book of the Year in 2022 and landing a place on multiple "best
travel books" lists from major UK publications. First published in the
