Description

Whose writing gets published and rewarded? Who gets written about and in what way? What unique barriers do women face when it comes to success in writing?

On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, the Women's Center will host its "Women in Writing Roundtable" as part of its Fall 2017 Roundtable Series from 4:00 to 5:00 PM to talk about these questions and more. Panelists will include Dr. Tanya Olson (Lecturer in the English Department), Missy Smith (an artist and creative writer), and Johanna Alonso (a UMBC student and writer).  

The event will be located in the Women's Center, which is located on the ground floor of the Commons next to the Yum Shoppe.
