English Students at the Baltimore Book Festival

Sunday, September 24, 2017
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Off Campus
Each year, the Baltimore Book Festival features author appearances and book signings, readings, workshops, and panel discussions to engage the community in the wonderful world of the word. This year, on Sunday, September, 24, 2017, English students Amber Turkin and Jahia Knobloch will be reading at the Festival's University Writers Reading, featuring young undergraduate and graduate writers from programs at Johns Hopkins University, Goucher College, Coppin State University, Loyola University Maryland, the University of Baltimore, and elsewhere. UMBC is up first at 3:00 PM. The event will be hosted by the Ivy Bookstore and will take place at its tent on the festival grounds at the Inner Harbor. We look forward to seeing you there and to hearing the wonderful writing of our UMBC students as they share their gifts with the world.
