Soliciting Submissions for the 2017 Big Prize Poetry Slam

"Slam Big! Win Big!"

$200 1st Place Grand Prize and prizes for second and third place

The Big Prize Poetry Slam returns for UMBC's 2017 Homecoming on Friday, October, 6th, and the window for submissions is now open. 

To participate in the slam, submit a print and a video version of no more than five minutes of original poetry to HomecomingSlam@gmail.com by Friday, September 22nd. Entries will be judged on their poetic effects, compelling content, and performance. All UMBC students and alumni are eligible to participate.
